The license is unclear. What are we allowed to do with these meshes?
Add them to commercial games or sell altered versions? I'm guessing not, but please make it clear in plain language.

Yes that's the one that needs clarification :-)
I guess the FAQ does do that, but does Zygote content follow that explanation as well?. Not just Sixus1 media.

You can use the Zygote meshes for personal and commercial use, simply by including the license. You can create derivative products for personal and commercial use, simply by including the license. Thanks for your interest.AntoniaTiger posted Fri, 03 June 2005 at 2:18 PM
A note on the Project Human commentary on the license: The apparent oddity of defining terms such as "you" is a normal part of legal documents. English pronouns can lead to a lot of legal wriggle-room -- is the "You" the entity using the content or the person reading the license -- and the definition makes sure it's clear. Otherwise, I shall merely note that there is no Sanity Clause.

So what about rigging? Is that available or is that up to the individual to do it? David

The press release is funny to me. The models were already free before. Why all of sudden does it warrant a press release? Is there a legal reason to do a press release? Can anyone do a press release? Can I do a press release when I give away my models? If so. Can I do a press release about my press release? ;-) -ScottA

To AntoniaTiger: sorry, I was feeling a little goofy when I went off on the 'you' thing in the F.A.Q. I am going to be finishing up some real real world questions for the F.A.Q. and I will try to be more serious this time, promise. And for the record, I never speak for Zygote or e-frontier, only for Sixus1. --Rebekah--
