Subject: is it legal?

i have this thing aginst makeing textures. i also play computer games. and i am fond of the print screen button. is it considered copyright if i use a texture from a game (printscreen) in my bryce projects? and how the #@$% do you import poser(4)animations into bryce(5.01)?

Most likely you would be violating copyright, just as if you extracted the texture from the game engine or file. For a better opinion, you could ask on the copyright forum. As for importing Poser animations, there isn't yet an easy way to do it. There are a few programs that are meant to be able to import animations, but as mentioned below they appear to be no longer being developed.

You don't. No current version of Bryce can directly import a Poser animation. It sucks, I know. There is a way to do it frame by frame, but I'll let someone else who is more experienced than me give you the link to the tut (don't know where it is right now).

Yes, using a texture from another app in your work, without the creator's permission is 'copyright infringement', and the Renderosity PTBs take a very strong stand against infringement. It will get you banned.
