We're at it again, this time with a twist. We're having a competition, sponsored by the fine people at Maxon, to sketch, model and animate a super hero or villain. It's a 3 stage competition and there is no easier way to win Cinema 4D Studio Bundle (valued at $2995). In a nutshell, first you sketch a character, in this case a super hero or villain. That's the first stage, easy wasn't it? Those that are chosen to move on to stage two win a copy of Cinema 4D (core, valued at $695) to complete the next task which is to model that character, taking it from a concept to a reality (if a 3D mesh character were real, that is). The winners of that stage will move on (with the appropriate modules to extend the C4D core package to the XL bundle, valued at $1895), to the last stage which is to animate the character they've designed and modeled. The winner of that stage receives the modules necessary to extend the C4D core package to the Studio Bundle. A damn fine way to win a kick-ass application and learn along the way. The contest spans June 1st to November 15th of this year. There's plenty of time to complete each phase and we do have experts on hand at RaunchyMinds.com to assist. Our 2D forum moderators, Hardbrush and Mukkinese will assist in phase one. Our Cinema 4D moderator, EdW, and I will do our best to provide tips and solutions in the second phase. EdW and a few other individuals with animation experience will be there to support you in the third phase.
