I don't contribute to society whatsoever, but that aside I hope you get in and Bryce them up!

Every company should have at least a working knowledge of Bryce. =) Best of luck!

Good luck!

Open your mind and share the knowledge!

It would suck even more if they haven't heard of 3D graphics at all. :-) Good luck.

Aye, don't be surprised. Bryce is not a commercial program, in any way. You'll never see a job posting stating, "Bryce worker needed!" I love Bryce for artistic purposes, but for commercial work or professional work it just doesn't cut the mustard. Animation in Bryce? You've got to be kidding! Also, you're applying for a printing job. Bryce has nothing to do with printing, at all! And any knowledge of Bryce you have will be useless in this industry. My younger brother and also my best friend from High School work for Rainier Graphics, the biggest production printer in the Seattle area. They print all of the wall-work for Starbucks, all of the signage for Safeco Field (Mariners?), and many other HUGE jobs. Bryce, a $99 application, has nothing to do with their $500,000 printer, whatsoever. Photoshop knowledge, however, will come in very handing and may be required. I'm hoping you get the job! But you might as well try to talk to them about a video game or something instead... It would have more pertinence to the job you're applying for, and everyone knows that video games aren't printable...!

You've gotta know the Adobe lineup pretty much, since they seem to do most of everything graphics-wise relating to the print industry. So familiarity with PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign will probably be useful. Perhaps you'll see something that's not Adobe such as Quark. But that can bring up some compatability issues, and I'd rather not get into that. Good luck with the interview!
