I had a thought. I was wondering if anybody here thought it might be possible to create "hair" on a poser character in Vue using an ecosystem and a distribution map?

I have thought about that already as well. I am a little sceptical but it could be possible. I experiment with water drops on skin right now - through an ecosystem. But the render times are frightening me a little. With "real" water drops - all transparent and reflective - and thousands of them the render times will probably explode. Maybe someone has a clever idea for that!

It's absolutely possible to do hair and water on Poser characters. The key for both is building the base hair or water objects to be populated. Single hair strands or water drops are too uniform to be convincing. Try using serveral grass objects or a collection of water drops and drips

I would say on the water drops that reflection could probably be turned off, or at the very least, use a reflection map. Unless you're going in really close, the reflections would most likely not be seen anyway. I could be wrong, but it may be worth a try.
