Hiya Malenchite I'm another very amateur photographer and I'm pretty new here at renderosity. Getting constructive advice seems to be hard nowadays though! The other galleries seem to be completely buzzing with people and life, wonder where all the photographers are? Well, looking forward to seeing your work. ~M~

Hello, there, Well, photography is still a pretty new idea here at R'osity, compared to the 3D imaging which founded the place. A lot of people who work with 2D images are in the 2D Graphics gallery and forum. And it looks like I may have to describe myself as extremely amateur, now... I don't even know what ASA400 film is (referencing 'Yellow' comments). I work almost entirely with Photoshop for the effects I get from a point-and-click digital camera. I might do more than that in the future, but I'm only a struggling college student when it comes to money. :) Malenchite

Hmm well, amateur or not, I like your images.... and I just started doing photography a few months ago. ASA400 is the speed of the film, ie how fast it absorbs light. But hey you use a digital camera, you don't have to worry about films at all do you. :-) I guess photography will never compare to the 2D and 3D art on this site. After all they're pretty different things, that lead to somewhat the same result - images. I enjoy browsing through the other galleries, but I don't feel like I have the right to leave any comments or ratings as I have no idea how the images are made. But still - I love things that are pretty to look at.... And thanks for all your comments :-) ~M~

Hi, Malenchite... There is a fairly good 'Digicam Dictionary' at this address. Step back through the URL for lots more resources. http://www.steves-digicams.com/digi_dictionary.html#i Colm...
