Hey Fran, Which tutorial are you doing, the one on Eovia's site by Cajomi. If so the area you have circled changes the height of the Mountains where I think you want to raise the height of the infitie plane or water in the assembly room. When in this terrain editor window click the "hand" icon top right of GUI to take you to assebly window , select the infinite plane object and raise the position to .005. You are just trying to place the water at the correct elevation with respect to the terrain object. Good luck.

No, it's the Johannes one. (not sure of the spelling there) and it's meant to Lower the height of the terrain as it will become the water. And before the image I posted I was IN the assembly window but couldn't see how to "select the infinite plane object and raise the position to .005." as you put it, so how do you actually raise or lower the terrain's height? What should I be clicking on in that assembly room/window?

Cajomi is Johanne's username in some forums. In the assembly window use the manipulator to move the selected object up and down. I will look at the tutorial on eovia's site to know more of what you are talking about. Mike

In the assemble room, in the right hand tray there are 4 tabs at the top. You must have your plane selected, and the click on the "motion" tab. Then look to the "transform" box below, click the little triangle there, if it is not open. "Center" is the first row of values, and "z" will set the height. Patrick
