Can anyone tell me whether the included poser characters in Poser 4 and/or 5 are free to use commercially? Is it written somewhere in the manual?? Thanks.. Chuck

Yes, everything that comes with Poser can be used commercially, as can everything sold at renderosity, Daz, 3dCommune, PoserPros, Poserworld and most other stores. Note that this means commercial use of renders. You do not have the right to redistribute any of the models, but renders done with Poser are yours to do what you want with. Free items sometimes allow commercial use and sometiems don't, check the readme on individual items to be sure.

Images produced from the content that they licensed you to use - yes. Redistribution of the content that they licensed you to use - no. Check your manuals again and you'll see the limited-use license agreement (P4) or end-user license agreement (EULA) (P5). I don't have P6, but it's probably similar.
