Normals forward?
Thanks, but no, that doesn't make any difference. The ground with the wave is a single sided polygon and its normal already pointed to the camera direction. Maybe it has something to do with the lights ... ?

Looks like a visual effect of the shadows. You could try turning shadows off for a test render, adding another light or two to soften your shadows. You might also try adding something more to the scene to reflect (think sky dome) Just a thought, Shogakusha

Awesome water, Mec4D!! It looks REAL! How did you get the skydome to look so real? All the ones I have map the clouds not very realistic. Yours seems to map the clouds nicely on the horizon like they should be, showing us "distance". The domes I have been using, the clouds have no distance, they're the same size over the whole dome. Is your dome different than just a big sphere or hemisphere?

you can use sphere, a time ago I buy a product for Maya, and based on this I try to do something for poser that works and it works.. poser5 have some problems with the light but now Poser6 with IBL is perfect for that. I used 360 degrees panorama photos for the textures that why the distance looks so nice.. I scalled the sphere to max so you can't see it when you open the scene and using nice focal you get more deep effect of it. Search the forum for Mec4D Universe you will find the post I did about one year ago when I started with this project. Cath
