Oh, I get 3D World, just haven't had time to try it out yet. It's that good is it? I'm off up north day after tomorrow for a few days, I may have a day after that before I'm off to Stroud... or certainly some time after that - boy, life is all go these days! I'm looking at various programs including Cinema 4D, I'll have to make time for MojoWorld too by the looks of things.

Ah... so you have to subscribe, huh? Sorry. I can't spend 56 pounds (that comes out to about a hundred dollars) for thirteen magazines. Too bad, though. Oh, well. I'd love to get that mag, just don't have enough money.

Rayraz posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 1:08 AM

You could probably find seperate issues in the local bookstores too Shinyary2, I think it's 6 brittish pounds per issue, maybe a bit more outside of the uk? but can't be much more then $12 I think.

It's more than $20 here in Croatia. :-( But, yeah, Mojoworld 2 is worth that money.

damn $20? that's expensive :S I think it's 12-15 euro's here in the netherlands... I figure it'd prolly be cheaper in the states though. But I agree, for MJ2 it is worth the money! I can't wait till I have time again to toy with it :-D I've still got some pretty cool WIP's lying around :)

6 pounds is $10.85 in USD. Answers.com found me this handy little site, which will convert pretty much any currency to pretty much any other currency. I'll have to go to Barnes & Noble or maybe Books a Million and try to find it. For eleven bucks, Mojoworld2 is not bad at all. Besides everything else you get with 3DWorld (I'd really love to subscribe to that magazine... sniff...) BTW, 56 pounds is about $101.30 USD. Just FYI.

miden1138 posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 3:08 AM

I actually get it all the time at Borders, and they recently upped the price here to $14.99. I still think its worth it.

artbyphil posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 4:14 AM

I've never used Mojoworld but it looks good. I notice on the 3Dworld web site it says its MojoWorld 2 SE. What are the limitations with this version? Can you import and export meshes and stuff.

Rayraz posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 6:30 AM

Shinyary, depending on how far they have to ship the issues to get them to the stores the price can get a bit higher too. still, it's quite doable to buy one issue :)

Yes, for just one issue. I wouldn't mind the full subscription, but don't want to pay full price for it. =)

Rayraz posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 7:59 AM

yea I know what you mean. I've had a subscription for several years, but recently I haven't renewed it. I'd rather buy some school books from the money :P

Newsagents have sold out of it already it seems :( They say they're not going to get more in either. That's very early to sell out, word must have gone around fast.

FranOnTheEdge posted Tue, 21 June 2005 at 8:00 AM

you could try going to: www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk

They do back issues so there may still be time to order issue 66. Although I've just had issue 67 arrive while I was away up country, so it's not all that early for 66 to run out. (67 has Vue 5 Infinite trial!)
