I was just watching my son play with this toy, and a light went off in my head.

So I started modeling this in Bryce. This is after 3 hours.

This is after 12 hours. And no, not in one sitting. My attention span is too short to do anything for more than 1 hour.

And this is after 22 hours. Final tweaking is very time consuming. I could litteraly have spent twice that amount of time. But, you gotta know when to say when. 100% Bryce! No post. Every primitive used. Almost every object is a boolean. Phew! This was a real mind fryer when trying to name and group things. Anyway, I'll probably offer it up as a freebie once I figure out a scene to put it in.

Your son isnt the only one who likes playing i see:) It pays off to have your eyes open for inspirational sources. Youve done an excellent modelling work on this one.

I think the phrase they used to refer to was "time to shoot the engineers and begin production..;)" and all in Bryce..

I have to utmost respect for those that can model in Bryce, the wireframes drive me crazy, so I don't have the patience...
