Mine is up in the multiple 1,000's. I'll never own it all -- unless if Bill Gates has remembered me in his will. Actually, I'm beginning to cull some of the old stuff.

Holy cow...I know mine's over $300 here.....$300 at Daz...$300 at Poser Pros.....$300 at DNA Need I say more? ;)
XENOPHONZ posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 5:53 PM
I'd never be able to use it all, anyway. I can't even use what I've already got. But I keep on buying more stuff.

This thread has revealed to me what's causing the site slowdowns and bandwidth problems around here.........
It's so simple that I can't understand why I haven't thought of it before now.
The website is slowing to a crawl every time that I open up my wishlist.
If any admins or mods are monitoring this thread, then you can pass this helpful tidbit of information on to the programmers.
dlk30341 posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 6:09 PM
I try not to let mine swell too big, as merchants come & go here so frequently, you might just miss out. I can't even begin to tell you how much I've purchased in the past, only to go back & re-download to find the artists are no longer here & the item has been removed >:(. At least I have backups, that said it is much easier to just redownload than search thru numerous disks or load up the external(which I only recently got in the last few months).

I keep a revolving Wishlist. As I find the time and expenses, only the items that are considered most useful (to me) are purchased. Items that have 'lost their luster' are ejected. And those that are toss ups remain until later evaluation. There is no justfication for the 42347091283740th V3 texture unless a third party is footing the bill... :)

Mine was huge. I finally deleted the entire thing a couple weeks ago and started fresh. I haven't checked, but I think there is under 10 items in there now.

Well, if most people's wishlist is huge, maybe Rosity would be better off to discontinue that feature.

LOL, are we talking about private or public wishlists (or both)? Mine's about $180 total, but I'm in a slump as to what kind of image to make next (which is the usual for me) so they can wait. :) I'd check Xeno's list out of curiosity, but it might slow everyone else down. ;) SnowS

Do people really go around purchasing items from people's public wish list for them? I can bearly afford to purchase what I want, let alone go and purchase for "strangers".

Acadia, Yes and a big thank you to those who do! When someone helps me I'm only too glad to make a gift and happily I've also been on the receiving end. That's a real great feeling. So go to it, gift those who help you.

Well, I'm off work right now sick, so my income is less and is limited and stretched to the max, so it's not possible. But I do see your very valid point. I didn't consider that aspect of it. But I do agree, it's a nice way of thanking someone for their kindness and efforts. Kind of like sending flowers, but only better :)

I'd have to won a lottery to buy all of it :( Edit: Not to mention $30 at PoserPros (no zeros missing here - only 2 items) and over $300 at DAZ... ;(

Actually, it's too bad that public wishlists can't be searched. I've tried, after going through my wishlist reports, to surprise people who've put something of mine in their wishlist but it's near impossible unless you stumble over it (and if they've made their wishlist public).

Very easy. Go to your Wishlist. To the right are selections (Add to cart, Pub. Wish, Delete). Click on "Pub. Wish" to move items from your private Wishlist to the Public Wishlist. I think that you must add items to the Private first and then move them to the Public (since there is no option on the MP items to add to Public).

purchase list? oh geez... On my buying account here on 'Rosity alone its $3000.00 or so. Including Daz3D, RuntimeDna, and about 6 other communities/vendor personal stores I think I've spent about $10,000.00+ since October'00. $10, 15, 100...it adds up quickly. Why do I have seperate accounts I get asked sometimes...if you violate TOS on most sites you get banned and there goes your access to your purchase history and reset abilities for the most part. My backup CD case is the first thing that gets packed when I move now, heh.
