I'm learning Rhino and poser and would like to make some props for others to use. When I export from Rhino and inport into poser4 ,It's green and usually at a 90 degree from the normal position. anyone that does or knows the steps to get a good prop into poser from rhino ...I'm all ears. Thanks in advance d.cooper(theecoop)

When you import an OBJ file into Poser, it assigns a color to each group. If there is any logic involved in the color selection, I can not see it. This is likely to be the source of the green. As for the position, I am beginning to figure it out for RDS, but have no clue about Rhino - however, if the rotation is consistent, why not just counter rotate in Rhino before saving the file? In any case , you should be making an intermediate stop off in UVM to assign materials and to map the OBJ. You can also fine tune or change the group assignment if it is needed. This will not affect either of your two problems, but unless you are going to make thesaved prop and external call prop, you will have to do it all over again if you want it mapped. Also, if you ever want to do morphs on a obj, make sure the only option selected on import is the one for the normals.
