Apparently working in Vue doesn't come back as easily as riding a bike to one who hasn't touched it in months... I'm using Vue D'esprit 4 and Poser 5. I know I have successfully imported characters with hair in the past (not the dynamic hair, but a hair obj like the Paradise Hair available in the Marketplace), but when I try importing the pz3, Vue tells me it cannot open the hair obj. Can any of you tell me how to do this? Thank you.

Make sure it's in the proper runtime path

I'm sorry...I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Vue isn't having trouble locating the hair object. It finds it and then says it can't load it.

Ok, I've been able to load the hair object separately (not as part of the pz3 file), so I'll use that as a work-around. thank you for your help :)

I have sometimes the same problem when importing large files. In this case it can help to break the poser file into smaller seperate files and load them one after the other. Vue then found the objects without problem.

I( read that you haven't touched Vue for a long time. Could it be that you have moved from Poser 4 to 5 in the meantime and Vue still is expecting stuff in the Poser 4 Runtime? And finds all that is in 4 and 5 but not in 5 only? Would make sense to me. Maybe you try to redirect Vue to Poser 5 and try it again.

Hmmm...thanks for your suggestions. I never used Poser 4, so that can't be the problem. I've been able to import models with different hair on them, so it must be something to do with the particular types of hair I was using. I will try a few more things and hopefully, I'll have an image to post soon :)
