Ok, so we spent some time on short but nice trails in a state park: This was at Fall Creek in Tennessee, USA. This view comes from the "more rugged" of the actually short and easy trails.

I blew a lot of photos there, not paying enough attention and overexposed too many where natural contrast varied a bunch. That is where "film" would have caught my attention and say "take you time". I have to practice on "nature shots" to get better exposures.

This waterfall is about 500 ft top to pool at the bottom. A very lovely place to keep messy people out of..can't do that and have a park! We had fun. Will go back with more time than the family get-together allowed.

I passed a guy going in as we were leaving..huge Canon on a heavy looking tripod over his shoulder. I wished him well but thought about the rocky steep part of the trail he had to face with that weight..ugh! He could have driven up, oh well.

Obviously this was a short "day trail"...lovely place. Take the path with the most difficult start and you have lots of room later on the easy part.

This is the reason for the park name, Fall Creek has a falls, so it is Fall Creek Falls. Sorry about the blowout on the falls..sun was very bright and contrast too much. Anyway, it is a pretty place.

Those are amazing falls Tom, looks like you had a very nice time. Look on the "bright" side -- you probably would ever make the overexposure mistake again. ;]
