Having some trouble with Bryce not loading all of my ps7 filters...can only get four filters to load....and there quite a few i would like to use. Keep getting an error when I try to reload the filter folder again. Something about a missing .dll file? recomends reinstalling bryce!!! Any ideas?

Personally, I don't like loading Bryce up with PS or PSP filters, although they say it can be done and no problems, that's not always the case. I've save loading up those filters for PS and leave them out of Bryce......but that's jmo.

Not all of them are compatible with Bryce, especially new versions. Basically, almost none of the built-in filters in PS 7 will work. Alien Skin Eye Candy or Xenofex will work. Or any "Photoshop 3 compatible", I think. So, filters for Paintshop Pro should work. Or free filters you might find on the web.

google and download and install this file... MSVCRT10.DLL , unzip into c/windows/system folder. create a folder on desktop called "bryce filters" or whatever, copy/paste plugins and filters you want to use with bryce into this folder...fire up bryce and go through the load plugins process in terrain or 2D objects editor...worked perfectly the first try! good luck!

here is where you can click on to get the plug-ins to work. I did not know about MSVCRT10.DLL dashboard_jehovah all I did was make a folder that say plugs and go from there for all my programs that can use plug-ins

one question..how do you get that bryce image?....tried print screen sysrq key, but cant find screen capture? using xp home edition.

Zhann posted Wed, 29 June 2005 at 3:42 AM

I use XP home, just hit print screen, go into PS or PSP, and paste, voila, screen cap....you can also set PSP and PS to do screen caps with a hot key, I use PSP and F11..

I use gadwin systems . It can save in diff files endings like bitmap and jpeg if you wish. I got it set on print screen key but you can put it on diff keys and I just go to my pictures and the sreen capture is there you find the freeware download about 2/3 down the page
