We want to see your tattoos (if you have any)! I love seeing tattoos on people and am always curious what they mean to the person. So, post a pic of your tattoo(s) and why you got it. Or, you can post a pic of a tattoo you want to get or would like to have and why. This is my dragon and I got it just before I turned 19. I just moved out (not a good thing) and was being rebelious. Plus, I just got exposed to the whole dragon thing and loved it. Since I first got it, it has changed color and appearance signifying my independance and moving on. I also have a tribal dragon on each side of my bellybutton, but no one will see that until I get back in shape! :P That one is one that my mother bought for me. Long story there, I don't see her much. So it is important to me as well. So, there is my story and my tattoo. I hope this thread doesn't die too soon. I'm curious!

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Very cool tats WandM! I love those kind. Great photo, too. Love the compo. :) KiwiMiss, it's funny, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. The first time was a bit painful, the first touch up was a bit painful, then I had it reworked at a tattoos and blues convention (in nothing but my bra!) and that didn't hurt at all. I had one of the press guys come up and say, "Out of all these people getting work done, you are the only one really smiling." :) Now, the one on my stomach REALLY hurt. Very tender spot. And when I get thin again, I have to have that touched up. OUCH! ;)

good idea for a thread damia... all beautiful tats & photos! when i got out on my own i wanted a tat to cover one i had done myself in HS, which was a heart shape made with a sterile needle & ink, strategically placed where my parents couldn't see... so i got this blue rose...

Brenda, that is a gorgeous tat. My mom has one all over her back that is tribal with colorful flowers here and there. Can I ask where it is located? :) Pascale, that is a beautiful photo. Very sexy! Cute little tat, too. :) Cyn, that's a very pretty little rose. I like the placement, too. I thought of getting one there at one time. :) More, more, more!!! ;)

O_o Damia, dragons are real cool!! but man, it's a big tattoo! O_o and yes, on the shoulder it doesn't hurt that much indeed but still not a very nice feeling huh!! Man, was I stupid!! I wish I had known better and have never had them done! Oh well!

Well, I like 3 of them but one is really messed up!! The other 3 are small and don't bother me really! I don't even see them anymore! ;) But that big one, oh man!! I tried to have it removed by laser and Geez!! It hurts like hell!!!! To have the tattoo done is paradise compared to have it removed!!! So well, it's gonna stay where it is! :( Cyn, u were a cheeky one already huh! ;)

Sounds like you have some cool ones, Brenda! I want more. I don't like the pain, but for some reason I'm addicted. My first version of the dragon was done 11 years ago and my tummy one was 7 years ago. I think it's time for another!! ;)

Gee now the edit button shows on my last post! Go figure! I got my first tattoo about ten years ago... It's an Iris and needs some reworking. I liked the pain so I went back and got another, a tiger surrounded by greenery and orchids, it will be reworked probably this October when I can get an appointment with my artist! I also had a butterfly done. The one I showed here is located on my lower back, it is only three years old maybe. I also have a few piercings. Gee maybe I should have the tiger lasered and then redone? ;) Only kidding! I am working on the design for the next, one that I will draw and it will be done on my back, maybe my shoulder, not sure yet. Brenda :)
