I read a few posts back that some vendors are allowing, for purchase, a downloadable version. Is this true? Where? Is it legit? Visque

I have not seen that any place.

I don't know if it's true of the PPP, but there are vendors who sell downloadable versions of programs, usually for about 60% of the cost of the boxed version. You download from a secure server, and are sent passwords to unlock it. You also can download the manuals from a separate secure server. If you do this, keep a VERY good record of your transactions; without the boxed materials, if your hard-drive goes, you're completely out the software if you can't prove the purchase. I learned this the hard way!

Thanks Anthony - this would be very handy. I`m still awaiting a stockist in the UK who actually physically HAS a copy to put into the post to send me. In the meantime, deadlines for commercial projects come and go when the PPP COULD have been very useful.
