Hopefully, ill be able to post some decent textures as well. :) Spendy, yes! 9000 swedish kronor($1125)for the camera with a 18-55 lens, and another 400 sek($50) for a 512 mb CF-card. Worth every kronor though. :)

Your making to much money from your 'Great Hall'.....he he he. You have a great time using it Rudy, I've heard it is one of the best out there and the 'Macro' setting is awesome!

You pay for what you get I suppose. In this case(as with all good digital cameras) it was obviously well worth the money. Nice kitty!
I never intended to make art.

Hey, Sweden is even more expensive than Croatia. :-/ OTOH, I'd suggest investing more, into more CF cards. 8 MP will eat 512 MB like popcorn. And if you're at least a bit serious about the photography, plan on buying other lenses, like telephoto. If you need any advice about the camera, come over to Photo forum, people are very helpful. BTW, is he (or she) trying to give you an evil eye or it's the usual inscrutable cat face? :-)

Everything is more expensive in Sweden. After all, its the land of taxes! :) I mainly need a cam for textures and skies, so right now its sufficient for my needs. But its great that youre able to build on the thing. He always look like that. Hes btw the newest family member, and a constant pain in the butt for the other two. :)

Typical! He describes an excellent camera and gives us a pic of a cat......WE WANT TO SEE THE CAMERA! (Maybe they threw in the kitty as a bonus for spending all that money?)

Sounds like a nice set up to me!...by the way, maybe by removing that whisker that appears to jabbing his nose, the kitty would look and feel less grumpy! ;0)

Strange, I was trying one of these the week before last, as my probable next camera, superb bits of kit!

Dashboard, lol, have you ever tried cutting off a cats whiskers? Persians are nice, but they would claw you to thin slices of flesh. :D Zhann, Yeah, i know it looks like an infection, but fortunatly its not that serious. These cats always have stuff in/around their eyes, and need to be wiped clean, at least once a day. Cog, You should definitely get one of these. Its expensive, but well worth it. The images have superb quality, and you have loads of options if you would like to set it manually.

Cool camera. I was just reading about some hacks out there for the Canon EOS systems... maybe you could use one?
