Is it possible to round the edges of the "ball" prop in Poser? I would like to get a close up of the earth, but when I scale it to the size I need it's no longer "round". Any advice much appreciated. 'tipps

One thing you could do is make you own obj prop or have someone here make one for you that has more faces then make that into a prop.
