Subject: A damsel fly too elusive for me...

This close-up is not the macro I wanted. The little fly was stunning in sunlight but would not stay there. Besides, I didn't have a macro lens on and couldn't get that close in the first place! It was fun waiting for it to land and hope for a picture. This is about it. In a way, I like this better than a macro.

It was a pleasing few moments to watch the critter go from leaf to leaf, in and out of the light.

Whoa Tom....I'm havin MAJOR dejua vu! I took THese photos waaay back in 2002 on a trail near work with my old Oly C700! Man, I miss that 10x optical zoom! Let me get close without disturbin things in general! These damselflies have the most incredible metallic blue-green coloring! It changes depending how the light hits them! A sight to see for sure! that's about as close as i can get to them Tom :] the compo is pleasing with the light on the leaves & room to fly

Love these guys, colors are great. I snapped a few photos of one a month or so ago. Nice job.
