So...QuickTime is messing with Poser but you still need it for other apps? Read this thread. SWAMPLast update : as I have said before , I canot stay without QT so I have done something about this : I have installed QT 6.5.1 and everything is ok now.No interference. SWAMP , I know for some time that QT is slowing down Poser but I didn't know about the file , so thank you for the link! Best regards!

Hy there! The past week I had an incident wich has involved my Poser thumbnails. And more curious , only those thumbnails created by me with P3d0 explorer. What hapened?Simply my thumbnails won't display.A few nice guys from around here tried to help me with answers to a problem in wich not all the thumbnails were displayed and was a workaround with an .xml .But this wasn't my problem , because my thumbnails were displaying , only the graphics inside them were not showing up. What means that?Well , when displaying thumbnails , Poser actually recomposes them from two separate images , one the actual .rsr or .png file associated and the second a .psd file included in the Poser library , wich displays that creamy background and the circle in the middle of it.You cna see that better in the original Poser thumbnails (if you will look closely you will see a circle behind the figures) , because the original thumbnails have transparent background (actually this is the primary use of the .rsr and .png formats , to make use of that option of transparent background). Poser , exactly this didn't with my thumbnails , it wasn't recomposing them , displaying only the background , without the content of the .rsr or .png file. The thumbnils were in their places , but you can know what one does only by it's title. Anyway , this could not stayed like this , at least no for me!So I have uninstalled everything from both my HDD's and reinstalled everything again and again an entire week until I have found what's causing this...Quick Time 6.0!Yes , that's right!I have heard along some peoples experiencing all kind of problems related to Poser after installing it (somewhere on the PoserPros forums) , but I didn't took in account.Anyway , now that the problem is solved , remains another question : what should I do , becasue I need Quick Time so I can install 3D Studio Max...But I hope I will find an answer to that too. I have posted this for everybody that could have experienced the same problem. Also , nruddock posted this about problems with alpha channels (wich also wasn't covering my problem) , but I thought to repost it again in case you will run into that problem : http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2225465 My original thread is here : http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2324357 I hope this will be usefull to you! Best regards!
