Hello .... I was wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a native american type canteen .. leather hide I think not sure . Thank you :)

It would depend on the Nation you are depicting, really. Most of the prairie Nations used the stomach of a buffalo or other large mammal, so any wineskin would do. For the desert tribes, most of them made clay pots with narrow necks. East coast Nations used deer stomachs and such.
