I can't wait to get home and play with him :o) PS: Regarding the picture: Yeah I KNOW about the Glowiung Nostrils... but at that time I didn't know any better...FREEBIES! | My Gallery | My Store | My FB | Tumblr |

:o) I noticed that the bump maps weren't plugged in, but that's easily done :o) I used them as displacement maps actually at a very low setting, on this new pic (link above) It's still an awesome texture, it definately deserves a renaissance!FREEBIES! | My Gallery | My Store | My FB | Tumblr |

I like you render Bill, thanks for sharing! ernyoka1 your Photo Realism 7 is excellent! I love it! Ok I am working on Apollo textures... I made some previews I take my time slow, Anton was so kind and shared with me the figure long time before but I decided to make something special and not put together old picks and grab the first bugs selling crap , so I used fresh and wonderful new materials for him... and create something with passion...try to put the fresh blood and life in him..now you will have enough time to spare your cents if you wish :) lol.... the head neck is done and the rest still in production because I want to match the quality exact with the head..especially becasue that is my first texture for him so he deserve the best! ;) I hope you like, the specular maps are optional and the shine coming only from the light not from the maps... I don't want to show him as a finished character, I want to show only fragments of the work that is in production on him right now. Thank you again... Hugs! I love the subtle asymmetry of the face Cath. Once again you amaze with you skill. I'm about to convert Leonardo to use with David & explore this vintage texture, & looking forward to AM's new look you're giving him. Thank You!!
hauksdottir posted Wed, 13 July 2005 at 4:24 AM
Looks very good! I'd like to put in a plea for at least one clean-shaven/beardless texture soon, though. Some races (Elvish, Chinese, etc.) just don't stubble-up like that, and many older men learned how to shave closely and neatly. (Smooth skin or full beards... anything between just looks ratty.) Thanks! Carolly
Mec4D posted Wed, 13 July 2005 at 9:51 AM
Thank you mathman, yelocloud and Carolly. Carolly you maybe want not believe but this character I used for the mapping was just shaved before shot LOL and if you saw the rest in real you can understand... ahhahahahaah But yes I will create one total shaved pretty face also one pale blond. If you have any other wishes it can be still post before I am done with this character.... Thanks Cath

Anyone else have any problems with Mec4D's site? I click 'add to basket' but the screen just jumps to the top of the page (no loading or anything).
MachineClaw posted Wed, 13 July 2005 at 12:41 PM
I had a bit of problems purchasing.
add to basket, gets wonky, then click proceed to check out and New Member and went from there. Worked. After the purchase I couldn't get to my download link and had to go back to the site, login then I got the download link.
It wasn't hard, just a bit of time, and for the price was worth the work. Old store seemed to be easier shrug

Oh come On Guys! that is so hard? hahahah That is better to first set an account in a moment of time, the problem after purchasing created by the server because you was not loget in so server don't know if you have autorisation and cut the download. All purchased download are ready to download always from your account anytime you wish and are not removed after any period of time. I don't noticed any problems right now, just click add to basket then check out and done :) and I was not loget in yet.. ;) I use Internet Explorer.. and you are right , sometimes I hate the new stores....but I guess my store is most simple I ever used... Hugs! Cath

Like I said, it worked, just took a bit. It could be documented better and made more clear. My Internet Explorer crashed once trying to purchase. I have purchased and downloaded, and when on your site it STILL says I have 1 item in my cart. It works, it's worth it, I'd buy again, but it could be clearer.

Cath, Oh, I know! My former husband had a heavy beard, and my face was always raw until he grew a real full beard (which was soft and nice). I don't think "manly stubble", I think of coarse sandpaper when I see those hairs. Variety is good. :) Carolly
Mec4D posted Wed, 13 July 2005 at 4:40 PM
Carolly I know what you are talking about :) lol my ex did the same for me before ;) I agree with you .......Variety is Good :) Cath

Well, I've registered & logged in and I still get the same problem. Incidentally, there was nothing on that 'Read Before You Buy' page that was relevant to my problem.
Mec4D posted Thu, 14 July 2005 at 3:19 AM
zulu9812 , I am sorry I can't help you, I don't noticed problems like this before your post, maybe there is a problem with your browser setting or java... You don't tell us what for browser you use. I asked my good friend to test on all browsers and only FireFox made problems the rest was fine. Cath
