i still think it renders sucky (stalls)and it doesn't use all the available memory.

Wasn't aware there was any SR2 in works to be more about. Did I miss something? My Poser 6 seems to run just fine with SR1, other than a few refraction problems that I have already told E-Frontier about.

I garnered a little trick to help renders in p6 - when you are in render settings reduce the bucket size from the default to about 22 that speeds the render up, seems to stop it stalling and also allows you to cancel the render if you decide to with out the whole darned lot crashing to a halt! Also unless you can see the back of an object throught the front ( ii if it is transparent or open at the front like a coat or dress) check the ignore back faceing polygons button. hope this helps

what I would like to see is a real time joint editor as there is in p5. As it is now I have to bring my creations in to poser 5 for joint work cause the poser 6 jp editor takes a couple jiffies to show the changes graphically. Also change the set up room group editor in wire frame back to white rather then black.
