This hasn,t anything to do with photography, other than my wee girl Sian has been the star in many of my photo efforts, and I want to spout off to someone! She was at horse riding lessons yesterday when her horse decided to bolt, Sian went flying off the back and landed bad, dislocating her elbow and snapping her upper arm, so as you can imagine we've been a bit busy at the hospital. They operated on her arm last night and she'll be in for a few days yet I think. We're all for not wrapping her up in cotton wool and do lots of things with her that might be considered risky, but the horse riding lesson ....lets say I didn't encourage her to do it, it was something she really wants to do. But to me she's a wee bit young yet, and has no control if a horse gets skittish. Anyway its done now and it could've been worse, but there goes her swimming, dancing, hillwalking, cycling, gymnastics etc. ect. for this summer...hold on this could save me a small fortune...now I could afford that bungee jump ...well perhaps not. All I can think of tonight is the scene from the film "Blazing saddles" when Mongo punches the horse...HAh serves it right!!! Night all

Sorry to hear about Sian's accident. Hope she has a quick and full recovery. Nice to see you taking with a grain of humor:}

yikes!! makes me shiver to read the word "snap" & "arm" in the same sentence... my very best to you both!! ...too bad they don't use the old plaster casts anymore, they were the BEST to sign with multicolored markers :]

Horses are the spawn of evil with an unexplainable attraction to the female gender... They're even worse than cats.

Very true 3dGuy, horses do have an unexplainable attraction to females...I absolutely adore them...but maybe not so much after reading this! I hope Sian recovers quickly so that she can get back to doing kid stuff again! Best wishes and hugs! -Krista

The only place to find a good horse is in a plate ! But I'm sure your daughter will recover very fast : It's always so with children. Sam
