Not really but a sort of. I was fiddeling with material setting to come up with this, a bit inspired by Zap326 wo made normal renders with bryce and then worked them to B&W with photoshop.

Playing with the material settings i came up with this, most likely that someone before came up with the same, anyway, this is at least a hell of lot faster than letting bryce peform (or lack thereoff) its render and then postwork the whole lot. You can still use different colors, for the moment i did everything in the same setting but you vary with the colors for Specular Halo and Ambient. The dails for Ambience and specularity can be played with as well but keeping them at 100 will give this nice high contrast as seen in the link. And honest, no postwork in that one.

Yes that's about the idea. Maybe i could use your idea to make a true vector-graphic like image. Might be worth a try. I guess i can't do that without post-work.
