Thanks. There are a lot of very cool things in this thread. It's been quite fun.

Before they made me they broke the mold!

My greatest works of art aren't here at all. My greatest works of art are all handdrawn figures, landscapes, comics, still life and so on. What I with Poser I wouldn't call art at all, imo anyone can create so called 'art' with Poser. What I do create with Poser I call practical, time saving and good looking, but not art. No one can draw as I do, it has a certain look & feel and atmosphere to it. Those who handdraw, paint, sculpture and such will know what I mean. You can copy my drawings, but they still wouldn't be really the same. On the other hand, a lot of people can create what I create with Poser and I could re-create a lot of other people's work. Same look & feel and atmosphere to it. It has nothing to do with art. So, I couldn't show you any art create with Poser at all. A few good looking pictures perhaps, even a number of comics created with help of Poser. I only use Poser because it save me lot's of time, I like 3D & computers. I couldn't create a handdrawn comic by hand half as fast as I can with a pc using Poser as one of the tools. Poser is awesome, but art is a whole different story.

Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

That's your opinion of "art". Art is subjective and varies from person to person. A sculpturer takes stone, or snow, or ice or wood and carves something out of it. The end result is a "statue"....or "art". Someone else might smash up a bunch of coloured glass and tiles and assemble them into a pattern and fill the spaces with grout. The end result is a mosaic....or "art". Someone else may run around their town gathering lint from the lint traps of dryers in laundry mats and piece it together into pictures....or "art". Another person might might take metal and melt it and mould it into interesting shapes. That too is art. Some people collect junk from dumpsters and junk yards and assemble it into "sculptures", again... art. Some render in Poser and then use another medium, such as painting or drawing, to recreate it on canvass. Both end up being the same, but different mediums were used to accomplish each. One isn't necessarily better than the other, and both are art. There are many forms of art, and each has their own merits, but it's all still art. I find it sad that you look down on people who express their creativity and "art" in a different manner than you do. Rather shameful actually.... and kind of snobbish too. Anyway, I back to the topic at hand... I've seen so many gorgeous images in the gallery that I've been embarassed to post my own meagre attempts, but I've been coherced to post them anyway, LOL so I've uploaded my second image to my gallery. Maybe I'll eventually have a whole row ;)

That's your opinion of "art". Art is subjective and varies from person to person. I think we shouldn't get into that discussion again here. I agree with you completely, but, as I see it, aeilkema was, like me, mostly referring to his own work. Let's just leave it at that, okay?
