Checking the hint of danob to identify one of my butterflies I encountered this amazing site. There seems to be a tremendous number of sites dealing with butterflies or other insects.The other day somebody told via the radio that in Germany we have more than 20 sorts of bumble bees...

Cool stuff... I took a photo yesterday of an insect... And I really have no idea what that could be...!!! Perhaps I should search for a while, too...... its a kind of fly or something... will post it the next days. :-) Very helpful link!!

yeah definitely an interesting site :) thanks for sharing... well - the shear ammount of different types of insects is really amazing... :)

Yes there are certainly a wealth of sites full of information on some of the wonderful wildlife we have around us

Great shot! I love butterflies and dragonflies the most, but since I got my camera I love pics of all bugs! Thanks for sharing your photo and this cool link. :)
