Hi, I'm relatively new to the Poser community and not really finding stuff at all. I've done searches but some sites are either nonexistant at this point or "site under construction" etc etc. Could someone point me in some different directions as far as sites and things go? And possibly some insight as to which ones are best? Also....just where are they anwyay? Finding out that current links are broken or you click on one and find out that its just not available. What about tutorials? is there a site just for those? Or are they pretty scattered and just have to wade through the crud you pull up on say like Google? Okay now I probably shouldn't ask this but as any comsumer I want a deal. lol Who's got one going on right now? My new copy of P6's library thingy is bare and itching to spend money. Not that I haven't seen some cool things here that I will buy mind you.....but......come on....you wouldn't as a shopper just buy at one store. lol Any suggestions given would be helpful at this point as I'm about lost, not hopeless mind you, just maybe a bit overwhelmed?

It depends on what you want.
Content Paradise belongs to the people who make Poser.
Vanishing Point specialize in science fiction (you can get all the Star Wars freebies there, for instance) and military stuff.
There are sites that specialize in clothes, animals, poses, animation files, anything you can think of. It is better to say what you want, and then people will give you direct links to those products or sites.

Oh! Okay, that makes sense, I'm sorry, I should have specified what I was looking for in the original Post. Considering, as I stated, that my library thingy is quite bare except for that which came with Poser 6, how about..........EVERYTHING! LOL Clothes, other bodies maybe, what are they....figures. Yeah. I mean V3 is nice and all and David is rather hunky......I can't get beyond the cost! Clothing really....and stuff. Maybe room stuff or buildings, modern day things, Sci fi is always fun, not real into the military stuff but could always find a use for it somewhere along the way from what I've been told. Animals would be a good thing to add to the collection....not quite sure how to use the poses of yet but I'll figure it out. That covers the inside and the Buildings but what about like landscaping? I've had my eye on RDNA'S Microcosm/Microcasm stuff but there again....though I'm itching to spend some money here......come on, I'd like to share the wealth so to speak.

Regarding PoserWorld. True that it's subscription-based, but your subscription gets you unlimited access to an uncountable hoard of Poser treasures. I won't even try to estimate how many CDs of stuff you could download, if you had the time and patience. And it's all organized in a simple, logical tree-database. I spent roughly the first 72 hours of my first subscription downloading, selectively, things that I thought I might need some time. My phoneline nearly melted. Everything from Biblical robes to police outfits to buildings to P4 baby clothes. And, of course, a whole department store of women's clothes. It's the best Poser deal out there. And given that it's run by a nice guy who has been a leader in the hobby since Poser 1, well worth investing a few dollars. And yes, you can browse for free, just like Costco. M

Forget Poserworld. I was a member the year ago, and sure, you can download many things, but they are not a good quality. Most clothes doesnt fit very well. I was not so happy with it. From my point of view (if you doesnt need somethig special) are RR-Marketplace, DAZ and RDNA are really the best for good content. Great textures (photoreal) for characters you can buy here best and very often for a very good price! I really had to laugh when I saw at DAZ just a view days ago the first "real Woman" - texture. I for one would STRONGLY recomment PoserWorld. I've never had problems with their clothes not fitting or the quality being bad. True, most of it doesn't have morphs, but that holds true for a LOT of the clothes you buy here, or on RDNA or even on Daz. That's where Wardrobe Wizard and The Tailor comes in. Did anyone mention PhilC's site? He's got great freebies and great stuff for sale! AND it's the home of Wardrobe Wizard of course - the best thing ever invented since sliced bread! I have to agree with Sivana about PoserWorld. I was a member there and felt that the stuff wasn't very high quality. What's more, the site navigation was atrocious. I didn't wish to resubscribe. Here's a site that I go to often. I don't think that anyone listed it.
