There are another two free characters in the freestuff 4 page, a dirty old man and his secretary.

Rather similar to SP3, don't ya think? Not that it's a bad thing, mind you.

Is it an original figure? I couldn't tell what figure it was based on. Anyway, ya can tell she's not from 'round these parts -- cause her face comes right off. (never thought I'd find myself saying that again...) The face -- not the whole head, just the face -- is set up as a separate parented prop with its own morphs -- been slapping it on other figures for fun. Interesting approach with distinct advantages over traditional? Frankensteining. Haven't tried the other two figures yet. The old geezer looks great. Are they also original/modified figures? Thanks to ?Hondara? (wherever he's been hiding) and to sekhet for sharing the info. (and khai for the direct link)

Nice figure, but some of the other site content means that a link is pushing the TOS limits a bit... Well, a lot...
xantor posted Sun, 24 July 2005 at 1:31 AM
Nance these other figures seem to be original meshes (and they have the seperate faces also).

Interesting mapping on those characters as well - reminds me of the mapping for the original Sims....

She's a completely original figure, modeled by Hondara in Maya, as are the other two. He's quite talented.

Im at work, so I cant test her now. Anybody has tried if any unimesh cloth works with her? Or Mayadorll? Or what?

The first prop is the face. Face morphs are pretty minimal... The labels are meaningless to me, but there are two blink morphs, smile, three eyebrow morphs, some sort of frown, and three open-mouth morphs. Second prop is the eyes: the morph handles looking left and right. x-rotate for up and down, don't touch anything else. There's a lot of body-part names in Japanese, which probably means that conforming clothing will have problems.

Very talented people there, check this tutorial ;-) MazakAntoniaTiger posted Sun, 24 July 2005 at 8:07 AM
Hmmm... The body-part problem isn't as big as I thought. There's two names in parallel, and the one we see in Japanese isn't the one that conforming clothing uses. Mayadoll hair needs a z-translation, but fits well. I don't have any Mayadoll clothing to hand for a quick check, but I haven't found any conforming items which fit. Still, I suppose I could use dynamic cloth. There's no big problems with posing. Somebody ought to see if they can translate that tutorial into English.

Just a note: His name is "have", "hondara" is his site name. Eroko and Genzo, Aniko(anime figure) are original character made by him. He is very talented modeller.
Nance posted Sun, 24 July 2005 at 11:07 AM
Thank-you h-kana for translating for us and the correction on "have's" ID.

Don't miss the extra Eroko face prop just below the DOWNLOAD link...the morfs are labelled in english (abbreviated, but still legible). & where's the dirty ol' man? All I see is Mr. Burns 8-)

I tried to play around with little Eroko, and found that Poser (V5) sort of hangs up once I try to delete the figure from the scene. The screen opdate stops functioning. Anyone seen the same? B.

The same thing happened to me with propack. It could be that the cr2 has a japanese word that messes up non-japanese versions of poser somehow.

Domo arigato, have-san, for this wonderfull character !
And thank you sekhet and h-kana for the heads-up.
Ok, not that I mind nekkid Ladys in my runtime, but this should solve all of Erokos clothing problems :
Heres how I did this:
Save Erokos face to the props library and delete her body.
Load NEAena, and load and parent Erokos face to her head:
scale = 104
x-rotate = -8
y-tran = -0,005
z-tran = -0,022
4.Load NEAs eye morphs and set the eyes to the follwing parameters:
Left Eye:
Anime: 0,3
Close-Far: -0,14
Out-In: -0,140
Height: -0,704
SideSide: 3
Right Eye:
Anime: 0,3
Close-Far: -0,013
Out-In: -0,140
Height: -0,704
SideSide: -6
(Dont ask me why its different for left and right. LOL!)
in the material editor.
Of course you can do the same for any other character you prefer.
(For those who really, really, REALLY dont know their way around magnets, you can send me a PM for NEAs head morph to fit Erokos face. Its not perfect but itll minimize any postwork.)

Search here in the forum for EROKO, ANIKO or GENZO. EROKO has some additional hipmorphs available (see threads here). ANIKO and Genzo are in bed for a while for fixing the cr2 not to lock Poser when deleting the figure. EROKO is available in a new PoserE (englisch)version. Instead of ANIKO and GENZO you can download Goblin, an excellent creature with some hidden goodies, search here for the threads. Have fun.
