Is there any way I can adapt any exisiting Poser character (realistic or cartoon) so that they have an all white body, face and clothing. I'm meaning kind of pure white, rather than textured white. I'm tryning to get to the stage where my output consists of clean black stokes with good mouth, eye, ears, hair-line definition. I tried getting the effect in Sketch Designer but the hatching is too fussy in 'objects' and when I tone that down, too indistinct in 'Edges', hence I'd like to render out in Firefly, rather than sketch mode, but based on an all white figure. (With black/contrasty eyes, mouth and ears.) Is this possible? Any help to get me there wiould be much appreciated.: MIke.

Have you tried to change the diffuse to white in the material room? Delete the texture/image node, delete all nodes.

Thats the way to do it :) if you have p5 or p6 you can make a material node to do it all for you. The easiset way would be to create a primitive and set up the diffuse to White, then save a new material node. Another tip is that if you want something super white change the ambient coloour to white and then change the ambient value. 1 will make it really really white, you might want to experient until you have the right value. In addition to the above, the kind of lighting you use is going to affect the way the light works. If you want a bright white, you need to use a bright white light. If you are using the Poser default lights, your white is always going to look dull and a little brownish.

After you get your white figure, check out a program called inkulator... it simulates inked edges. There've been a couple of threads in here, last year sometime? Carolly
