Sorry :( I never pay attention to the number of views because it doesn't matter to me. To me number of views doesn't really tell you anything other than someone clicked on your image. They could have clicked and left without looking at it. Or they could have looked at it and though "OMG! Ugliest thing I've ever seen", or they could have looked at it and thought "Another Picasso!!!!"

Does it have to be a pic? I have a brief animation clip here in the animation outlet that has seen over 3,000 downloads. That's more than any of my still images will ever see most likely. You can't post comments or ratings for animations, but it's still nice to know people are looking at the animations on this site, and not just the still image galleries.Tools : 3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender

I can't even download the animations posted here since Renderosity uses those damn buttons for downloading and viewing and clicking on them causes IE to try opening the files in the browser and not media player as they should.

It's not my personal favourite - if I was to choose one, it'd be "Dancing...", a major struggle with Sketch Designer (experiment was failed, but I like the pic anyway). http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=953251&Start=1&Artist=vilian&ByArtist=YesOutdated gallery over at DeviantArt

Hi Casette, My best number of viewings was for one of my few non-nude pictures, titled: "Danger Girls - Ready for Action" with 1417 views. Technically it is far from my best image and there were some things that I would really like to change in it. In my defence, I was - and am - still learning how to be a Poser! I think the leggy thumbnail helped with the viewing interest. I ticked the nudity tag because one of the three women is wearing a **REALLY** skin tight latex suit.kawecki posted Tue, 26 July 2005 at 4:32 AM

This isn't my most viewed pic overall, but it got the most viewings (2293) and by far the most comments since I posted it. It was my entry for Ferguson's Fantasy Female contest. I didn't win, but I had fun making it, and I'm slowly recreating it in DAZ Studio to try and improve upon the original. Thank you to everyone who left comments too, I appreciate them very much. The one with the most viewings (2908) also has the most visible breasts in the thumbnail...big surprise. ;) Thanks, take care. SnowSmy DeviantArt page: http://snowsultan.deviantart.com/

This was one of my faves, because it was a satire on one of my teacher in college. I was taking a typography class for my graphic design degree and she made us do all the assignments over and over without telling us how she wanted them done. So my wife called her the Text Nazi and made the joke that she was like the Soup Nazi on the Jerry Sienfeld show. GEORGE: Medium turkey chili. JERRY: Medium crab bisque. GEORGE: I didnt get any bread. JERRY: Just forget it. Let it go. GEORGE: Um, excuse me, I - I think you forgot my bread. SOUP NAZI: Bread -- $2 extra. GEORGE: $2? But everyone in front of me got free bread. SOUP NAZI: You want bread? GEORGE: Yes, please. SOUP NAZI: $3! GEORGE: What? SOUP NAZI: No soup for you! [snaps fingers] [cashier takes Georges soup and gives him back his money] I didn't show the image to the teacher but I did show it to the other students in the class and they thought it was very funny and appropriate for what she was doing. She only lasted 1 more semester at the college since I heard she got a poor evaluation.

Per Mizrael's comment on my linked pic... It was made in response to a copyright violation (or rather, several copyright violations) by a once well respected texture creator, Byte Me 0k. I spent a hell of a lot of money on her work - me and a lot of others, that is - only to find out she'd stolen a lot of her stuff from other texture creators. There was a huge shitstorm in the Copyright Forum and a lot of us were (justifiably) pissed.

I'm currently doing a similar one for Glamorous Jessi, who does have the figure for it. I suspect after awhile fame sort of builds on itself. "Venus - a pin-up (full nudity)"3765 hits to date. Don't ask me why. Maybe because it's saying "full nudity"? There's not even a naked breast a belly on the thumbnail, just shoes, feet and shins.
I have to confess I'm a sucker for hits, and comments, and rankings. Although it's not my favourite, with the help of this thread, it might soon hit the 4000, which would fill pathetic little me with joy.

When I started to posting more here is was very frustating, I used to have 1000 hits in one day and lots of comments (my record is about 72 comments), and here if I reached 50 hits I was lucky and forget the comments. This one has nearly twice as many as any other image because of a fluke. It was only my second ever fully realized Poser image and got attacked by a modeler for not having any original content. It was one of those moments that caught me off guard and I made a post about it and that's the only reason it got as many hits as it did. It does have 941 views and somebody might be lucky enough to push it over 1000. Not surprisingly, my second most viewed image is a pinup. The third most viewed image is happily not a pinup, but interestingly hasn't generated a single comment even though another image, with less than a hundred views, managed to get two comments. It's all kind of curious how these things work.My visual indexes of Poser

My most viewed here at Renderosity is "Male Fantasy #4 - The Cowgirl" with 634 hits. The most hits I've had is 2148 on my picture "The Cowgirl & The Cop" over at that other Rendo website to which we cannot link. ...Must be something about those sexy cowgirls ;-) **Nudity flag because I couldn't remember which parts of certain body parts had to be covered.**Ardiva posted Wed, 27 July 2005 at 8:25 PM

Thanks for the tip. I use IE out of pure laziness and because it's built into Windows XP. I haven't been able to play AVI media directly offline since they pulled the media player plugin from internet explorer. Quicktime tried taking over the AVI formats but would never play them so I removed it hoping that media player would load but it doesn't. IE tries opening any AVI's now as a webpage in the browser itself unless there's some way to right click and "Save Target As" which there isn't with 'Rosity's download and view buttons. I wish I knew a fix to have Media player load up again

I had some images that were up to 900 views or so when I removed them. shrug I periodically prune my gallery here for various reasons, and to be honest, I don't care particularly about the number of views I get. bonni
