Hey Kort! I really like the idea behind #3! I would like to see the effect of the green continue on a bit more tracing along the veins of the leaf! Like life is being injected in a sense! Yeah this is a COOL concept...that I would like see explored! L8r! Joe

Cool Joe, thanks! Yeah, that was my thinking behind it. :)

Agree - the idea of 3 is great, not sure about that shade of green though.

I have to agree! #3 idea is very promising. It needs a bit more green though to give that impression....mostly through the veins and the fading out from the veins. I don't know if that makes sense. lol Anyway, I can't wait to see the finished image. :)

Thanks, and I like your version too Andrea. I tried something like that but wasn't happy with a middling desaturation. It was all, nothing, or something like 3. But you did well with it. What shade would be better Richards -- feel free to edit and post. :) Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm leaning towards something like 3, but with more green like Joe suggests. Anyone else?

Definitely #3!!! I just love it the way it is actually but maybe a tad more green would be better! Not sure though! I think u've managed to depict ur intention so perfectly!!!

I like the concept behind number three, and as Joe said, making the veins green would be an even cooler concept! Brenda :)

Without a doubt the third option. It's a wonderful and original idea. The green has to seem like its flowing through the veins though,to be really effective.Good luck Kortalouche! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Kort! Think the movie TRON is a good analogy of the effect! The veins should kinda glow (almost neon green) and the dark green gradually seems to spread out form there

#3 Definitely!! I love this clever idea and the green just starting to flow from the drop up the veins but not the entire vein...to give that just beginning to awaken look. Sounds great..can't wait to see it. :-)
