Nature is Nature and Wildlife is wildlife! We all know animals kill to eat etc etc...be it a fish, shark, fox, badger, bird, spider, tiger, lion, etc etc...you get the idea!
The shot in the above link I didnt mean too offend BUT...that is the way of the wild!...I just captured it in its natural state and am damn proud of it...not a shot you see often but its realism!!! Opinions please!!

I have seen that many times with osprey.I wish I had my camera back then. They dive into the water then a bout 30 seconds later come up with a little duck in their claws. That is how they eat and survive. It's not offensive, but a fantastic capture of Nature.I know this is probably why you got that lens, and am I ever wishing for one.

Not offensive at all. Just one helluva shot that you have every right to be darn proud of. #:O)
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Yep, a shot you really can be proud of, jimbO! I don't think it's offensive... that's wildlife! But I have to admit the image touched me deeply. PhotoSmith said in his comment so well: "Most people have the luxury of being several steps removed from killing what they eat. I'm thankful that I'm one." ... me too! :o)

I agree! Seeing the food chain at work isn't my favorite thing, (I'm a bit squeemish) but this shot is amazing! I can appreciate it for what it is, an amazing capture of a magnificent animal. I'm glad you posted it and you should be dang proud of it. :)
