a couple people asked to see the other versions of the b/w i posted in my gallery. here's the original i shot. i overexposed it intentionally because i wanted the church in silhoutte. in hindsind, i should have taken one underexposed too, as well as one which was perfect on my histogram. but kemal and i had been out walking all day in the heat, and i was ready to call it a day. all i could think about was getting back to the car. but i'll go back another day and take some! :)

here's the color version i did with some postwork. it's two layers. i took the original image and lightened it up. then i layered that one with the original and this is what i got. then i changed it to b/w, which is the one in my gallery. did some cropping, and i think that was it. i love all 3 versions and couldn't decide which one to post last night. just picked one. :)

I have to be honest Sheila and say that i think that colored one is the best...by far the best!!!! That blue sky really does it for me. Beautiful capture. #:O)

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?
