About the least expensive solution I can think of is find someone that has Mimic for a PC, give them the audio/txt that you want coverted to a speech animation, and have them give you the file that Mimi creates. I haven't tried it, but it should work.

What"s the second least expensive?

I've successfully created Mimic files on the PC and used them in Poser Mac. Thank goodness Poser comes with both Mac and PC versions, since Mimic requires it to be installed on the computer to work. I'm curious if anyone uses Mimic directly on the Mac with Virtual PC or SoftWindows?

I haven't tried it, but Mimic really isn't very processor demanding. I would guess it would work to run Mimic on a Mac using Virtual PC. The second least expensive method would be to videotape someone saying what you want said and match your animation to the video. I've done it, it takes time, but it looks more realistic than Mimic. Although time is money, as they say.
