Attached Link: Sky Giants I (gallery version)
gwfa brought up the good point that he felt that the moon should be lighter in my gallery photo today. I wrestled with that same issue because I felt that when I lightened it too much, it started to look artificial. But I decided to give it a try and in the version above, lightened up the moon a bit. Nothing else changed. You can see the other version by following the link. Which do you preferr? Thanks for the feedback! =o] --KortKort Kramer - Kramer Kreations

I actually prefer the dimmer Moon. The brighter one makes it seem more a weather balloon drawn close to the thunderhead.

It is never an easy decision, is it? ;] ----sigh

AWESOME (both of them!) but the brighter one has more impact to me! :)

The darker background allows the moon to be brighter. I vote for the brighter moon too. Aloha

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say...clone out the moon! Ok....I said it...(disclaimer - This is just MY opionion), It does seems to be fighting for attention against that wicked cloud formation!
I look at this image and lock right in on the moon. At first...like some others have stated, I didn't even perceive it as the moon! Even knowing that...it still doesn't register in my mind for some reason. Maybe its due to the small size and lack of detail (when compared to the cloud that is!)
Again...just my thoughts! Clouds are one of those fascinating gifts of nature! We all see faces...and shapes! Checkout the one with a pompador sticking his tongue out! (mid area...below moon...dark edge!) This dudes "hair" is the "nose" of another face!
I could look a this all day and find more! Bet we ALL could!

Well, now that Joe mentioned it....I'd go for that solution too actually! Yep! Clone the moon out! :D

I still like the moon in there because that would be the true picture of what your camera had captured. Maybe a lesser brightness on the brighter one to make it look more real. My opinion. Aloha

I still love seeing the moon in the picture...hehe Either one! I could tell it was the moon and really loved that it was captured in this magic shot. I guess of the two with the moon, the one that is a little bit brighter. It looks great with the few clouds floating over it like that!! :-) (((hugs))) ~ maggie
