Before I start downloading from DAZ... Does anyone here know of any compatibility issues with using the free DAZ M3 or V3 in Poser 6 (SR-1 or otherwise)? Or were they a Poser 5 exclusive?

FYI, DAZ does not "officially" support anything other than Poser 4 or P4 ProPack; however, there are more and more products which have some concessions to P5 and even the DAZ installer will now look for P5. If you're using V3 or M3 with the morph packs, I strongly suggest you turn off the PMD options in P6. It can make reloading a morphed figure difficult otherwise.

The only problem you may run into, depending on your system is the materials. The V3 obj file has about 375kb of fragmented material references that can slow down firefly when it buids the material database prior to rendering. But many models are fragmented and not everyone encounters slower rendering with fragmented obj files and Firefly. Aside fromt that, you shouldn't have any problems.

Defragmeting .obj files alter the check result when using RTEncoder or similar files to decode stuff, say like if the .obj is changed it will fail the validation of the file . . .?
