Subject: Model Wanted... cymbal

Does anyone know where I could get a 3d model of a cymbal... the hand-held percussion musical instrument?

I've looked everywhere, but nothing?!?

Try 3d cafe i thought i see one on a full drum set there you might be able to take just the cymbal and delete the rest.. Orrrrrrrr... If you ask real nice some one might offer to make you one. Good luck.. Rod.

I have a model of a hand-held, concert cymbal. It's in .obj format. I'm doing a quickie render in Bryce now to show you what it looks like rendered. Here's an open gl screen capture of the model in Rhino, where I put it all together.

Oh, and I guess I should tell you that, yes, the model's mine, just so you don't think I'm touting someone else's work as mine. It's Wings and Rhino. Anyway, here's the promised rendering. It's not the best texturing job ever, but, hey, I said it was a quickie. :)
