Well I went and checked the Venus Press site to see who won the big cover contest. IMO, I'm not too thrilled with who won. You be the judge. www.venuspress.com David

Well, it sure weren't me. :-( Funny they don't have the winning entries posted, though. Edited to add: Okay, found the Entries page. Had a feeling s/he was gonna be the one to beat. So who's your favorite?

Well since I had entered the contest, I'm kind of biased when it comes to favorites. David

LOL! I know what you mean. But other than your own, who would you have picked? Pretend you're a judge and couldn't enter if it helps any. (And no, I'm not fishing for compliments on any of my humble offerings.)

Well, I do ebook covers for erotic fiction already, and I didn't win. Personally I think it's kinda hard to just make a book cover without any idea what the book is about. Part of the challenge of doing good book covers is being able to illustrate the story in a way that will draw people's interest enough to have a look. (And having a thousand fonts doesn't hurt ;-). Ah, well, whatever. There's no accounting for taste, and the publisher I work for now is top knotch, so no complaints from me. bonni

Yeah, if they'd given us a few sample script pages it might've made for more fun. Being of the literary bent as well as the artistic, I "illustrated" the "novels" in my Planned Projects folder. So maybe someday ...
