I remember a couple of years ago having seem a Lost in Space style robot here on Renderosity. I can't find it with searches, does anyone knows if it is still available and if I can sstill get it?

There was one, but it was for Bryce..try a search under 'robbie'..

There was a version for Poser but I have no idea where I got it from. BTW, it ain't Robbie. That was from Forbidden Planet and it's a totally different robot. That one, however, is available from 3dpmr or 3dmpr or whatever it's called. :)

There is a lost in space robot at a web site called Lost in 3d I think. I can not remember the correct address. I will look for it and get back to you.

The link for lost in 3d, they have the b9 robot and robby in the lost in space props and downloads about halfway down the page. Robby the robot is the one from forbidden planet, the b9 robot is from lost in space.

Thanks guys, I already have Arduino's great, free Robby figure--who incidentally was a guest star on 2 episodes of Lost In Space as well as appearing in the Twilight Zone. TZ loved to recycle those old Forbidden Planet props and sets!

Fun fact: The B9 Robot was created by Robert Kinoshita, the designer of Robby the Robot

The in joke about that is that the B9 is "Robby's little brother". You could see it in the sibling rivelries in the Lost in Space Series when they were always fighting each other.
