Is this a job for geometry switching? It sounds as if it may be. Check the male hip genital / no genital switching code for an example of how to do it. I don't have personal experience of doing this, but I can probably find more references if you need them. Hoping this is for what I think it's for. :)

I have two obj's with different uvmaps but I want them both to be used by the same cr2. So I thought instead of including two cr2's in the package, is there a better way to swap the obj reference in the cr2? Is this something that can be done with poses? Otherwise the filesize of the package doubles, just for one single line in the cr2...
