That is just to cool. I loved the Jetsons when I was a kid. I always wanted one of these. Very cool work Kix!

Hey that's pretty nifty, now lets see it around the house or something, maybe with a sign or something.. I like it alot. Was it done from reference or memory? Steve

I'm also investigating toon renders. Toon Pro may be in my future. The features that plug in offers are seductive. -Kix

Can you do a quick Toon render from what's available within C now? Maybe a non-realistic? Looks great Kix!
Kixum posted Thu, 11 August 2005 at 12:47 PM
Yes I can but there are line options in Toon Pro which are valuable. There are options in the current Toon feature in C4 which allow you to reduce the toon effect for objects. This turns out to be VERY useful for my final desired result. Toon Pro looks like it only allows you to scale the line effect. I'm going to have to download and try the demo before I decide. -Kix

Wow excelllent Jetson's image! Even the high rise buildings in the distance look like the ones in the show!

That is so cool Kixum! Love the Jetson's car! The buildings are great looking too. Now you just need an auto-doggy walk for Astro ;) Look forward to seeing this develop!

I think that works great! :D But I am looking forward to seeing the comparison.

Toon! Pro will make a nice outline of the model for you.
sfdex posted Fri, 12 August 2005 at 7:24 PM
You can also render a photo-real version and a toon version and combine them in post -- say Photoshop -- using different transfer modes and transparency levels to lessen the toon effect, or increase the photo effect. Looking great, Kix! - Dex

Parchment will do that if you have that plugin. But Toon! Pro is head and shoulders above Toon! II(I).

Wow that is really cool! Are you going to model the characters too?
