An incredible selection! I notice all the archives are in RAR. Is that better than ZIP? I need to find a good free un-RAR utility. Thank you so much for sharing this.

There's info on the RAR format here that talks about its pros and cons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rar Try this free "un-RAR" utility :-): http://www.7-zip.org/ I installed it and have it on to my "send to" menu (don't recall if it actually did that automatically or if I did it myself) for RAR files I download

Those are beautiful. Unfortunately I don't use 3D Studio Max or that Light something program. It's too bad they forgot about Poser :(

But you can import files Acadia as 3ds or lwo. :)

Is there a tutorial anywhere that shows how to do that and add any textures that come with them?

If you import the 3ds files, it will ask where the textures are and apply them, some objects have avi texture files that wont work in propack or poser 4 so click cancel when poser asks for these but click yes when it asks "file not found do you want to keep looking for missing files?" The avi files might work in poser 5 and 6 but I havent tested that. With poser you are better to download 3ds files to import because the lightwave files are sometimes a newer version than poser can import.

Don't forget about startrekaustralia! They have hundreds of meshes in both .MAX as well as .3DS
