I suspect this question has been asked before, but anyway - I find that objects in the 'Bryce Free Stuff' pages which expand to '3DS' files can be opened and used very nicely in Poser, but 'obp' files cannot. I have found no way to open these in Poser. That's unfortunate, because several people are doing some really nice pieces in Bryce, but I can't use them because they're 'obp's. Is it easier to create these files as 'obp' or can they be just as easily created as '3DS', assuming of course that the creator has the appropriate software?

Thanks, pervers, for your response. I tried this and crashed my system every time I tried to save the object as 3DS. Maybe some problem in my files. I'll check out the thread you cited.

Correction to my previous response: I tried to save as an 'obj' file. I do not have the option (in Bryce) of saving as a '3DS' file. My options are dxf, id4, lws, rds, wrl and obj. However, trying to export as any of these crashes Bryce and sometimes my entire computer. I'm trying to export by selecting the object, selecting 'E' (for edit) and clicking 'command-D', which brings up the export pull-down menu. It's at this point that I crash Bryce when I try to export.
