Hey guys! Need your help on something. How do I model the clothing and parts for a cybernetic character? I mean, whats the best process? I have 3DS Max 6, Poser, and Bryce 5 and I need to make a variety animated cybernetic characters for my movie but the process of building and importing / exporing the parts and clothing has me a bit stumped. Say I was starting from scratch, I should load a new poser figure, give her the body transformations and hair I want her to have and use poser to create the tight catsuits for her, then I export the entire figure into 3DSMax and model the clothing around my imported Poser figure right? But how do I attache the newly modeled clothing to the figure and make it stay there when I import the figure back into Poser for posing and animation? Also, I lose my face morphs and and Bones stucture too right so I have to re-create the entire skeletal system prior to posing... I know I
m doing this the wrong way because it NEVER turns out right. Should I just import the figure and dreate the clothing and cybernetic arts and then import them as props once the figure is back in Poser? Im a little confused... Basically, I
m wondering how I can create artwork like the stuff Warblade does (see his gallery page. Check out the Cruisin speed pic). Break the production of creating something like this down for me into basic terms I can understand? I`m still learning to work with clothing and learning to model my own clothing in 3DS Max... Can you guys help me?
