Hi all, I have a circumstance where I need more precise control over the distrabution of my ecosystem. I've seen some outstanding work done in this fashion, but I can't seem to find a tutorial (in english) that could walk me through the procedure. If anyone could describe the process or point me to a reliable link, I would appreciate it. It is good to recognise a few of you as my background is not rooted in Vue, but in Lightwave, Terragen, and ZBrush2. Thanks and, Keep pushin' those pixels and tappin' to the code!

Thank you all so much! I wrote to e-on software techsupport, but this was quicker and better! I'm looking forward to participating more on this forum.

I wrote up a tutorial on this. Filters are a very important part of getting greyscale maps to work properly.Message edited on: 08/14/2005 18:10
