I would like to know if anyone with a bit of understanding of P6 Materials can help me with a Toon related look I'm trying to achieve. I want to achieve a Toon look similar to that created by the Edge Blend Node, but sharper so that the edges between the Inner and Outer colors are sharper. It would create a simulated Rim Light effect which is often used in animation for a character wearing black clothing. If anybody has any clues, please let me know. Thanks! Meanwhile, here's a sample of just a plain old Edge Blend...

...and here's a sample of the look I'm trying to achieve. See how the blue encircles the black and outlines the figure? Edge Blend does that but I'm trying to decrease the blend amounts between the Inner and Outer colors.

You can use a toon node instead. You control the blurryness with the Spread param.

Yeah, but the Toon node only offers a look based on how the light hits it. This look would almost ignore how the light hits the object in favor of an almost outline look. I use the Toon node all the time and tried a couple of things but it won't duplicate this look. Thanks for the offer, tho.
