How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

That is pretty dang cool, Andreas. I think it's beautiful! I love the way the rays look on the left and how the plants on the ground are lit up. Glad you shared this one. :)

You got me Cindy, LOL. It got a slight adjustment actually....ooops. I added just a wee wee wee bit of radial blur to it. Just to enhance the rays that were already there. Thanks Damia. #:O) ....psssst... swats??? Is that a step up or down from SMACK and WHACK? #:oP

It's not jibberish, silly. It's broad scots. It means your pic is great and I'm surprised you don't see that.(Bonny is pretty.) And sadly yes,smiley-impairment is a very serious disease indeed! You're lucky you at least have a dictionary.Alas, currently there's no help for the smiley-impaired.Sigh. :(

naw... dead cuz personally i liked the HTML in the comments,
used it all the time for color back when it was acceptable,
but it was deemed as "a problem", for some were abusing it
& yes foolishness is a word
but not folishness!!! haha

Andreas, you know how much i ADORE your images!!!! and while i think it's awesome that you captured the sunrays, this image is not one of your best IMHO. you said you didn't think it was gallery-worthy, and i'm not sure what you meant. if you meant it's not up to the usual standards of your photos, then i'd have to agree with you. now you know me, Andreas...i always go goo-goo gaa-gaa over all your images!!! well, this is one that IMO is just not that great of a pic. to me, the left upper quadrant has a large patch of what looks like burned out highlights. Also, the lower left quadrant looks pretty dark to me; i don't hardly see any details at all on my monitor. well, it's just my 2 cents. i do think it's cool that you captured the sun rays. Now maybe if there was a way to do some postwork and bring out some of those details and then do something about that left side...???? hmmmm...i wonder how it would be to layer this with another image. Perhaps use a photo where you have a nice sky and then blend it with this one??? maybe a silly idea but just a thought. anyway, congrats on capturing the sunrays 'cause i know that's sooooo hard to do! :)

Too bad we can't do that. But then we would be infringing on music laws too. What a world. Sigh. But it could get pretty nasty sounding if there was more than one embedded song in here. LOL Especially if it was auto start.
